Public Speaking Coaching: Group Classes

Corporations, nonprofit organizations, and service clubs will find PRIDEA’s group classes beneficial, as well as highly entertaining and interactive! They also make for GREAT leadership retreats for board members, key executives, and dedicated volunteers.

The sessions last from 2 – 4 hours in length and take place at the client’s office or at another agreed upon location. Some clients choose to hold sessions on two consecutive days. Others hold four sessions over the course of a month.

Keri Gee Barnett will first have you fill out a group assessment form so that she may analyze her audience and develop a tailored program to meet your group’s needs. Key topics will be agreed upon prior to the classes.

During the sessions, participants will have many opportunities to work with one another and the facilitator through hands-on exercises and role-playing. Video taping presentations for evaluation purposes can be arranged, as well.

The most popular topics for group sessions include:

  • How to be an excellent spokesperson for your group… Be a PRo!
  • How to effectively deliver a PowerPoint presentation
  • How to gracefully handle media interviews and other Q & A situations

For rates and more information, contact Keri Gee Barnett.

“From the board members’ remarks during and after the session, I know it was definitely worthwhile. We were especially impressed with all the preparation you did prior to the session. I would like to see PRIDEA do a presentation to our Board of Directors on an annual basis. The information and ideas you gave us are very valuable and ones that can easily be put into action.”
