Keri
Gee Semmelman is passionate about helping others and has more than 20 years of
proven leadership as a public relations go-getter, professional presenter, and
speaking coach for a variety of clients in the corporate and non-profit sectors.
After earning a double major in Journalism/PR and Recreation & Leisure Studies from California State University, Long Beach, she delivered award-winning PR, with an emphasis on community relations, for Camp Fire Boys & Girls and for the Orange County Department of Education’s statewide Regional Occupational Program (ROP).
In 1998, Keri Gee began her own PR/professional speaking agency, called PRIDEA, where she brings together pride and ideas for each client's success. She is on faculty at Chapman University where she teaches an upper division business presentations course, and also serves as a professional speaker to audiences of all sizes.
Keri Gee’s innovative PR work has earned her the highly prestigious PROTOS
award from the Public Relations society of America (PRSA/O.C. Chapter). She is
also the winner of numerous annual local, district, and regional speech contests
sponsored by Toastmasters International, with a special flair for impromptu speaking.
The community leader has served on the PRSA board for many years and has chaired
the PR committee for numerous non-profit organizations. Her awards
include: Marketing Volunteer of the Year from both the American Cancer Society
and Camp Fire USA, the Spirit of Volunteerism Award from the Volunteer Center
of Orange County, and the Touched By An Angel Award from Orange County On Track. She is also a former nominee for Business Woman of the Year in Orange County.
Keri Gee is a California native who loves to write poetry, study and practice leadership, travel, shoot photos, scrapbook, do charity work, create joy, collect teapots, and inspire people to have pride in their ideas!
